That is no way belittling any other team. It just a simple fact that Alabama has earned through a history of excellence and winning. Once some other team passes them in those categories than they claim that title. I am sure many of their fans certainly would if it ever happened. I think some of you have a complex about this issue. There are other conferences that have historical flagship teams as well.

And for your information, I was the one that said we could lose to Duke. Not Bella. And many would consider me one of the better Bama posters here. I never said we WOULD lose to Duke. I said it was possible. Crazy shite can happen and refusing to believe it is retarded

That is true statement but it does not change the fact that they are the best program historically and the first one people think about. In the country there are handful of teams that people think about historically with winning and Alabama is one of them. People need to accept this and move on with their lives. Nick Saban has restored Alabama to this status for the time being. IMO Alabama deserves to be on top again after having several difficult years of losing and coaching transition.
