1 year doesn't define a program. I say again... By your logic, LSU is a better program than Alabama and we know that's not true. LSU has 4 national championships to Clemson's 3. That's real close.

5 National Championships, LSU used to claim 1908 until about 30 years ago. LSU brought the 1908 team back to Baton Rouge around 1938 for a 30 year event.
Today LSU claims 4 and even the NCAA record book gives them credit for the 1908 Championship.

That's not neccesarily true. There are upsets all the time. So, was Troy a better team than LSU? That day? Yes. That year? No.

No, I understand that you got purple and gold glasses on. LSU and Clemson's history is very similar just in different decades. That's the case in most similar programs.

Right now, Clemson is better and my opinion hasn't changed. Over 100 years of history, very close.

I am? We decimated them in the most recent meeting. Have more championships in general, more heismans, a better stadium, more traditions, etc, etc.
