I consider UGA and Clemson to be exactly the same in terms of trajectory over the last 30 years.
Both recruit well. Both always have high expectations. Both always shite the bed.
Clemson and UGA are so similar it's stupid.
If Clemson wins, Clemsoning will be a thing if the past for me. I've seen plenty of Clemsoning but if they run the natty they deserve to lose that title.
It then must shift to UGA no? What do we call it? Sharting (for Kirby Smart), Bulldoggin? UGaying? San-fording?

It's not "Clemsoning" if they lose in the National Championship Game to Alabama. "Clemsoning" is an unexpected upset by an unranked team while a heavy favorite. They had many chances throughout the year to "pull a Clemson". There is no shame in losing to Alabama in the Championship game of the playoffs.

I come to this board because it's one of the most diverse and active boards anywhere. And I agree that the SEC is the best football conference with the most active fanbases. You are lucky to be part of it, especially since your contribution to the success of this league has been minimal. You were cheap and available when the league needed another team, and I suspect that a significant portion of the SEC would trade us for you straight up if the opportunity presented itself. But we are where we are in a lesser league and that's all we can do. You can bitch all you want about our schedule, but I don't see you or your fellow USCe brethren petitioning the SEC to bring us in to level the playing field for you.

The ACC schedules are weak in general, but Clemson did play Florida State and Notre Dame before beating Oklahoma. There's no question they belong in the title game.

Agree. This is a good board for football talk. ACC only talks about basketball.
