While the SEC essentially owns the South, I don't want the BIG whatever to gain any foothold. Let the other conferences fight it out from coast to coast, we don't need to. In order to do so, however, we need a complete shutout by taking FSU, Miami, Clemson and Georgia Tech. It'd be great to have UNC and the like and if we keep expanding past 20, that'd be great to add the four NC schools but otherwise our model has been perfect. We are really the only region with a common culture (exception, Miami) with which we identify and that is a strength.

One thing none of you Clemson fans seem to understand is that you need to bring enough TV viewership revenue to at least pay your own way. There are already enough teams in the SEC that don't pay their own way. The SEC is not going to allow more teams in so the rest of conference teams can make even less money. The idiot that wrote that story doesn't seem to get it either.

No it’s not, and they absolutely can’t afford to get out. Also, the ACC just made it harder by getting two more votes from PAC rejects. Not happening.

If so, need Oklahoma State.
Fit right in with A&M, Vandy, Auburn, Miss. State, USCe and it would keep a rivalry intact.

Yeah, I would be shocked if any of these rumors about Clemson and FSU were true.
