the reality is Clemson still remains a player even when we probably had the worse defense of a major program in the history of football. LOL
again, i'd rather lose a bowl game and dominate next season and humiliate SEC team in a bowl game. really, the Wva game kind of set the stage for us for the next season to shock the world.

this would be like Clemson fans claiming credit for Duke and UNC's titles in basketball even though we suck at bball. LOL
given SEC bias ensures at least one SEC makes it every year, it doesn't mean much. I think pointing at NC is kind of a fluke stat anyway b/c the best teams don't always make the title game, it takes a little luck. no way ND and LSU were top 2 teams last two years, and bama didn't even deserve to make 2 years ago. it is what it is

last year was historically bad year for ACC with programs facing some atypical stuff like maryland losing 4 qbs in a row and playing a linebacker at qb. so comparing acc to sec in bowl games last year is bit of a red herring. LOL
