You keep using the academics at UNC and Duke as proxy for Clemson. I am just showing facts which now make you uncomfortable to accept even tho you have been dickriding ACC academics as tho Clemson is an academic star. They are not, and are only slightly better than Auburn and Arkansas while being equal to your in state SEC rival. Only Bama and the MS schools are that far down and Bama is part of a tri school system.

UAB (the medical side of the Bama system) is well above Clemson in the same academic group as LSU, GW, Uconn, UC, KU, UK, MU, UNL, WSU, Oregon, and Notre Dame.

UAH (the tech side of the Bama system) may not have FBS football but they have a really good tech school.

I used a site that looks at academics on the global level and is one of the more respected out there. They could care less if a school is in the SEC or ACC and look at just the academics and not the sports or greek life type metrics USNWR does. nah think about it, black qb's who are great passers but not good runners tend to get hyped up by the media. so they do the same with white qbs who are good runners. the media hypes up any player who defies the stereotype. I learned of this phenonomen in my sociology minor at Clemson.
