Well I agree that have not played well, but all those guys are talented

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, wastes talent like Texas does. Year after year - like clockwork

Well then I think we can agree that is on Herman and his Defensive Staff hires. If talented players are not playing well, that is on the coaches.

“Vastly superior”

Lol. So because Clemson plays pretty much every one on the sideline and doesn’t pile up stats on a bunch of nobodies they don’t deserve a playoff bid.

How can you be our best opponent when you’ve already lost to someone on our schedule?

It’s amazing how little self awareness you coots have.

Call us when you defeat, wait, even play 2 top 10 teams during the regular season...

You were 3 yards away from losing to Mack Brown and the mighty UNC.

Bama 33 & Lsu 41. Bama SOS is no where near 33, closer to 53. Whoever came up with these numbers must be smoking pot with AOC, Alexandria Orcasio Cortez. It really doesn't matter till Oct 9 so who friggin cares?

Because teams don't ever improve/regress over the course of a season?

Since when is Texas a quality win this year? Have you watched them? Their defense is beyond pathetic, with a new low against Kansas last weekend. They are going to lose to Baylor, and possibly ISU

Baw. You beat R-Kansas by 4 and Ole Miss by 7. You should follow a time-honored southern tradition and stay at the children's table, until invited to sit with the adults.

If Clemson wins out, they are in the playoff. But if I were a Clemson fan, I would worry if Clemson dropped a game. I don't know about ESPN's metrics, but I have seen Real RPI's and the ACC is ranked 6th in terms of power rankings as league, the American Athletic is ranked 5th with SEC 1, Big 10 2, Big 12 3 and PAC 4.

That Texas win looks worse and worse every week. Not bashing- just pointing it out. But a Clemson fan saying they have a good sos is ridiculous.

Because I knew he'd miss the point just like you apparently did.

The SoR right now means exactly dick.

While Team B's SOS is worse than Team A's, their SOR is likely higher, because it's more difficult to go undefeated against the 5th, 7th, and 19th ranked teams than it is to go undefeated against a bunch of mediocre teams.

As I said, Math is hard.

Right.

It is a better indicator than SOS at any point in the season.

But none of this really matters. Clemson will get in as long as they don't drop a game.

Again you miss the point. But that's not surprising.

Quoted for truth.

If SOS was the Metric Then Auburn, South Carolina or Texas A&M should be the leading candidates for getting a playoff birth (and we all know that's ridiculous).
