Screw that. I'd take Clemson and FSU in a heartbeat. Put them in the East and move Vandy and Mizzou to the West.

So you want nine in the West and seven in the East huh.
Gotcha

Oops.
Put Auburn in the East where they should be anyhow. Problem solved.

please reveal the list of the tough games your team plays this season. i'm interested to know which teams within the SEC you consider tough or difficult games.

Now you're talking except the sheep humping sister bangers and FSU part.
Would be better to add NC St and Va Tech and bring in new markets.

I assume many posters in this thread are Lib Progessives, like those that vote in bad decisions, then eventually flee their decay to Red states..because wishing to have the SEC swallow one of the few powerhouses outside of itself is bad for the health of CFB.
The ACC needs Clemson and Dabo, especially with FSU and Miami teetering. The Big10 needs OSU elite, and for Harbaugh to adjust soon. The PAC needs USC with a good HC again. The Big12 needed Herman to challenge OU. Nebraska-OU, Tex-ATM Thanksgiving night, etc..should never have ceased.
I've always hated expansion, it helped accelerate much of the current decay at hand. Tim Brando's WWL interview a few weeks ago is spot-on. That bitch Delaney forced other Commisioners hands in rudely raiding for tv markets/fence-post purposes following his lead.
Even with expanded playoffs in the future, having the same few super-conferences dominate all the slots via further expansion, will only further demoralize other regions and conferences morale, and harm the waning health of the sport.

LOL Clemson is historically a top 20 program.
Oh yeah I will take winning 2 of 3 NCs now than being a blue blood that hasn’t done chit in 10,20, 30 years.
after this season 3 out of 4 with a young team and the #1 class coming in.
What you going to say when Clemson has 5-6 NC. Will they still be New money then?

And yet it is. Go look at anyone from QS to US News.
And that's from from a Gator, and probably one that knows a shitload more than you about higher ed.
Not saying you can't get a good education at Clemson, but Georgia has more clout.

I’d gladly replace Missouri or Tennessee with Clemson

You'll still be running like roaches to an SEC board dragging that inferiority complex behind you and begging for validation.

Says the fan of the team who has lost to their last four ACC opponents. USUCK should be in the AAC, not SEC or ACC. See you in November, can’t wait too visit the Cock Roach and witness number 6. Bahahahaha. Go Tigers!

Idk. They're good now under Dabo, but their success leaves with him. They struck gold with him, but they aren't one of the top 15 schools that are built for success for the long haul.
Their crash back down to reality is going to be interesting to watch...from a far of course.

Expansion is about TV sets. Well these days it about phones and computer screens, but the point remains.
Given it's geography between UGA and SC, Clemson (and FSU) would bring Zero TV's sets into the picture. All the taters already watch all of TheUofSC games anyway (and vice versa).
Besides ESPN isn't going to let the ACCnetwork's fattey cow change sides at this point.

Clemson has everything it needs to be successful in the ACC. I think the 2 national titles in the last 3 years validates that statement.
The only advantage I see that the SEC offers is a few more dollars and Clemson has as much as it needs to be successful. The new ACC Network that just launched will add to the bottom line. Not as much as the SEC network or the Big 10 Network but enough to continue with our current success.
The BCS Era was all about the conference. The SEC had a huge advantage and the polls were heavily slanted to favor the SEC and if we were still operating under the BCS model a stronger argument to jump to the SEC would be viable. Fortunately, Alabama and LSU's appearance in the BCS Championship game was the final nail in the coffin to the BCS era.
The CFP is all about the team. No BCS poll to favor a conference. Clemson has thrived as a ACC team in the CFP era so why in hell would we want to lose that? We play Alabama more than some teams have in a decade. Obviously, playing an ACC schedule has not hurt our game play in the playoffs.
Conference schedule will become even less significant when the CFP eventually expands to 8 teams. In fact, quality non-conference games will be more important than the conference schedule and Clemson's had no problem taking only at least one quality SEC team. We can't help South Carolina. I not sure anything can help them.

Until Clemson doesn’t storm the field in games where they are 30 point favorites
They are new money

I bet y'all can recite more about our program than you can your own. Funny how a team y'all claim is your little brother flat out ignores your hillbilly asses until you come slithering in, feeding your addiction to everything that is even remotely related to the Gamecocks like a tweeker craving his next fix.
You're the football equivalent of trailer park trash with a few trophies. If winning means having to embarrass ourselves and lick other ppl's asses begging for validation, I'll take no trophies and dignity without the ever present taste of arse in our mouths.

We need to add Texas, Oklahoma, Clemson and Florida State and create a super conference. Throw Notre Dame in there as well.
