First, I don't think these 3 guys were part of some sinister plot to take out Clemson players. The general thought floating around is they probably went to a local gym and took something without checking out with the school and it burned them...
With that said, I absolutely think there are people out there that would do things to hurt a program by getting players suspended or the program in trouble. College football is so big that people of influence may do things to affect a program. You can use your imagination of the many different ways you can get a program into trouble.

There was no plot and I am pretty sure that at least one, not going to say his name, was working out at a gym in Anderson that he shouldn’t have been at.

Given that most Alabama fans are YUGE bandwagon fans, he probably jumped over to Tennessee during basketball season.
