If South Carolina could play yalls ridiculously easy conference schedule then they would probably be in your position every year. When ESPN is referring to games against Duke as “brutal” you know y’all are having to compensate. The ACC is CFP welfare and Clemson is government cheese.

I'm remembering all the times that Scar fans prayed that some dumb stuff would turn into a huge scandal. And I remember that as the days passed, the only people still talking about these "huge scandals" were Scar fans

I don't think so. Their defense has been worse than most ACC schools the past 5 years or so, and they don't face that many prolific pass offenses in the SEC.
SC has lost 5 in a row to Kentucky. Surely ACC teams could play with Kentucky.
if your schedule is so hard why does Alabama rarely lose against it.
all of the conferences have teams that win more than others.
I would say being in a division with FSU means Clemson is in one of the toughest divisions across time given how good FSU has been until last two years.
The ACC has won 3 out last 6 national titles, and the only confernece to have more than 1 team win a national title in the last 8.

bowl game results are pretty meaningless outside of the playoff because a lot of the good players sit them out.
SC didn't have Deebo, NCSU didn't have Kelvin Harmon, etc, difference makers for their teams

There nothing "meaningless" when a team gets curb-stomped 28-0.
SEC fan-base has been using bowl records as an indicator of their prowess for years.
