If Clemson beats Alabama should their title have asterisk for using peds?

Alabama has three guys out for likely the same thing. FWIW.

Is this alter's schtick being completely new to college football? Every program uses stuff like this. Some people just slip up and get caught.

As long as a 10 man committee decides who gets to play for a Championship, there should alway have an asterisk next to the winner.

Does this happen in any other team sport?

So computers couldn't do it now a 10 man committee can't do it.
What would make you happy, Puppy?
Do you want the keys to the car? Hopefully you'll work really hard to change the system so you can be happy.

When Clemson beats Bama their title will be even more celebrated because they did it without one of their best players

They just need to get rid of this rule. It's as if literally nobody in the NCAA/conference leadership has ever smoked pot and everything they know about it stems from 1930s propaganda movies. Pot is in no way a performance enhancer. Hell, enough use and it will hurt long-term performance. I could see the problem if players were popping PCP in pre-game warm-ups, but pot? You're just punishing players for lowering their ability to perform, be aggressive, and not lie on the turf laughing every time someone uses "inside route" and "wide receivers" in the same sentence.

I hope they win on an illegal pick play

This board is proof.

At least you had a large sample size who made the decision. Now it is a few of fired ex-coaches and a token reporter and a few administrators. It is an invitational tournament and nothing else.

Maybe. Maybe not. We don’t know because Alabama didn’t make a stir about it like Clemson.
