Got Dammit. I exited out of it for 5 minutes. Is it fricking impossible to fast forward periscope videos? Gotta listen to the first 10 minutes all over again.

I'm not a big Travis fan but this is worth a listen. He's telling the straight up truth in this.

Agree. It looks like Travis is telling it like it is.

Gruden was willing to go but Haslams didnt want him

If half the crap in this video is true, Vols need to run Haslams out at gun point.
If there was any chance that Tennessee could've gotten Gruden and it was held up due to Haslam wanting full control, he needs to be removed.

no the frick it doesnt. go back and listen to what Manning had to say when they were trying to hire Schiano. you cant reconcile that with Manning being Haslam's lap dog and Currie going out on a limb on his own. it's a giant load of steaming bullshite.

What are they going to do? Take away his billions of dollars? Remove his son from the Governor's office?

No doubt Currie was a cluster frick, BUT...he had The Pirate ready to negotiate terms when the Fulmer faction completed their coup d’etat and he was ordered home empty-handed to a pink slip.
The Haslams are no different than any other big time boosters. They want all the control you will let them have. If you don’t set very defined limits early on, they will run amok.

But let’s not be naive, Fulmer is after the exact same thing: control. And today he won. The only difference between the two factions is I don’t think the Haslams were under any illusions that they should be involved in the day to day football operations at Tennessee. I can’t say the same for the Fulmer clan.

So now Phat Phil will put one of HIS minions in place of the Haslams minion and we’ll see how this all plays out. My hunch is Tee Martin will get the call. I think Phil thinks his old NC QB will let him be very involved in the football complex which is what he wants. I don’t think this is going to end well Vols.
