Central MS is home to Rankin and Madison counties. The highest income in the state and the counties average household income places it about 25th nationally as highest income per capita. Central MS also has the best schools and the best shopping.
I live in Madison and it's a very nice place to live. There are some very nice parts of Rankin County, too. But Madison County also includes Canton, northern parts of Madison County and Rankin has Pelahatchie and other rural communities. Parts of both Madison and Rankin counties are upper and upper/middle class but I would pump the brakes on top 25 counties in the country as average income. However, I would put our Kroger up against anyone's. I will post pics if requested.

Here is one. It crops off the fuel station on the left and probable a little of the building on the left and right.

Neat, it's also home to Holmes, Attala (represent) Carroll, and other poverty infested shitholes.

I was a tad befuddled by that statement too MaroonNation. I can only assume he is thinking about SW Jackson. If so I agree with him. However you can't go wrong with Brandon, The Reservoir and Madison. Generally great schools and standard of living.

I was really impressed with how nice the town of Brookhaven is which is just north of McComb. That place has grown. Lot of nice antebellum homes, neat downtown area & it just seems like a real clean place.

I had to cross the interstate before the flyover was built to go to your Kroger while ours was bulldozed and rebuilt. I would stay on that side too if I lived on that side.
