I'm talking about in the NFL. I see AJ being a solid back up for a few years until being released. I think he just benefits from being on the best team in college football and that many QB's can have success at Alabama. Just an outside perspective/opinion.

I really want AJ to succeed in the NFL and think he will, but a little part of me hopes you are right because dude is running out of tat space.

What he said was completely accurate. About Murray, that is.

He'll will go down as a productive college QB and the record holder for many passing stats, but it's unknown how he projects in the NFL because of his size and his streaky performances during big games.

I could see him being somebody that one NFL team gives a first round grade to and another team gives him a fourth round grade.

I think he ends up going in the second. Probably early second.

Just depends on the type of season he has. Make or break for him.

Judging on his first three years and the players surrounding him returning, there's no reason to think he can't put together a pretty good season. Statistically anyway.

I've seen Bridgewater, McCarron and Mariota going in the first and early 2nd round. If JFF comes out, he will be graded there as well. Seems like Murray will get pushed down.

Yeah, if Murray was 6'4" he would have gone in the first round this year, but being 6'0/1 he could go in the 3rd. No one knows...

Next year is going to be interesting for the draft. With Kaepernick's success on the fied we'll see where guys like JFF and Mariota land. Although, both these qbs could've been proset qbs. A kid like Hundley out of UCLA could take off as well - he reportedly bulked up like crazy in the off season.

On a side note, there are some athlectic freaks coming out of the Pac that are underclassmen in this draft with ASJ, Colt Lyerla, Anthony Barr, De'Anthony Thomas, Marcus Mariota, Ka'Deem Carey, Ifo Ekpre Olomu, Marquis Lee that could push for the first round if they aren't already graded there (Barr, Ekpre Olomu, Lee and not to mention Yankey). De'Anthony Thomas will make a case for first round as the featured back - he will play WR in the pros. I could see the Pac having a top shelf year for the draft next year.

Kaepernick is Greek. Nothing more, nothing less. Pure ability. He's twice the QB JFF will ever be. Mariota has the size to be successful.

Though he hasn't been great the past two seasons, Chris Johnson probably made De'Anthony a lot of money.

I see DAT running in the 4.3s although it wouldn't be out of the question for him to break 4.3 (Johnson ran a 4.24 right?). DAT actually said that BJ Kelley on our team runs the 40 faster. I wouldn't be surprised to see him break the shuttle time. I see DAT more in a DeSean Jackson role.

It doesn't mean that teams won't take a chance on the next Kaepernick. I am interested in seeing what Chip does at Philly. He has Vick and Dennis Dixon but also drafted Barkley and has Foles on the roster, a proverbial statue.

Okay, so in Texas 3706 yards and 26 TD's is more than 3893 yards and 36 TD's. Got ya... The only reason he out rushed Gurley (a whole 24 yards BTW) is because CMR pumps the brakes when we get up big. We don't smash teams by 60 like Sumlin likes to do. That's not UGA football.

OK, but in Texas we do handicap for an extra freaking game played (14 vs. 13), so perhaps I should have (correctly) stated that JFF threw for more yards per game than Murray.

Ditto on Gurley -- JFF out-rushed him in one fewer game.

Would sig bet that JFF played fewer minutes than Gurley did -- and before you get all "Gurley didn't necessarily play consecutive series like JFF," I'm speaking directly to the "tap the brakes" comment. As far as time remaining in the game when that player went to the bench for good -- I say JFF played fewer minutes this year than Gurley.

We can't help it if we scored 40 on people in the first quarter and a half. You don't exactly pull starters before halftime...

You do have to factor in style of play and tempo.
