Yeah, Mariota is a hidden secret in a way. I told this board that Dion Jordan was an elite NFL prospect and got ran off the board - as good as Mingo. How do you like them apples, tigerranters?

Anyway, Mariota is going to light it up. Also, watch out for Colt Lyerla. Safarian Jenkins is rated higher now but Colt is tougher and just as freakishly athletic.

Right, NFL has same rule as MLB

Actually, their rules aren't the same. NFL players have to be 3 years removed from high school. Baseball players have to be 3 years removed from high school before signing - if they go to college. If they don't go to college, they can sign immediately after graduating high school - which football players cannot do.

Also baseball can go pro after Juco - would be interesting to see that in Cfb. Someone like Clowney may have just decided to go Juco.

That's exactly what happened. L Collins moved over to LT in the spring.

Don't be suprised when he makes a couple of ALL SEC teams when the season is over.

Would not be surprised at all. I am just surprised it has taken this long to move him to LT.

On a side note - kudos to the "guy" who down-voted the thread "Chris Low Ranks the SEC's Top 20 Draft Eligible"

La'el Collins gets no love. Dude is a stud.

How many snaps as he played in college at Left Tackle?

He'll make some post season lists for sure though, but I get why people don't put him on these lists as of right now.

This is pathetic... Are you dudes really brainwashed by this kid? He had two of the best OT's in football. I can't wait for football season. Their schedule is garbage, but he won't even sniff those numbers from last year.

Fool them once, shame on you. Fool them twice? Pfft... No.

So I guess AJ's a fluke too? It's entirely possible to have both a good OL and good players around them.

Without your stellar run game, UGA plays for the Natty. If you had to ride AJ in a big game, you fail. Your consistent run game and superior offensive line would make Joe Cox look like a Heisman trophy QB.

Point I'm trying to make is, JFF had all day to pick a D apart yet ended up running around like a chicken with his head cut off more times than not. It won't happen again this year. At least not with the same numbers. Their schedule is a complete joke and it could be smoke and mirrors again. However, number 7 player in the league? No.

I'm not sure about how he translates to the NFL, but JFF is great in the college game.

Even with the loss of Joeckel, there's no reason to think he can't be good in 2013 because he's a playmaker. He turns sure sacks into big plays with his escape ability.

AJ had the go ahead touchdown.

Also, that game was closer than it should have been. Lacy put the ball well across the goalline (even other UGA admit this) before he fumbled, and the one play that should have been a DPI but wasn't because they said the ball was tipped, when it wasn't.

1) You got Clowney listed twice in the top 5...

2) You got Manziel listed twice in the top 11....

Holy shite. It's like Alabama can do no wrong with you.

Mistakes were made by both teams throughout the game. That's why it came down to one final play. But obviously the game should have been a blowout in Alabama's favor no matter what.

Holy shite. It's like you only pay attention to what you want to. Alabama can do plenty wrong and has before. Just this past season things that Bama did wrong include, but of course not limited to :

Play Vinnie Sunseri at the Slot

Not play CJ Mosley on every down

Allow Jalston Fowler to get hurt

Call horrible plays around midseason, when our backs are getting big gains, don't start throwing stupid passes.

Didn't push hard enough on Laremy Tunsil.

Didn't play Geno Smith at Star earlier.

Didn't play John Fulton enough.

Make Trey DePriest get a haircut.

Start Amari Cooper from the start of the season.

It should've been yes, because no one, the coaches, the players, or the fans, should be satisfied with anything less. You gaining a yard of offense is a failure for the defense.
