Hopefully it won't be too much of a psychological thing for Mett and his confidence, especially after getting hit so hard on the right side against North Texas. I would imagine the left side loss would do something to nerves and feelings of security until chemistry sets in. LSU's definitely got the talent, and for the most part, the meat of your schedule doesn't come until the second half of the season. Maybe you're getting all of the bad luck out of the way early.

Would prob be a big deal if you played USCe tomorrow but that game isnt for 6 weeks. By then the talented backup will be adjusted.

6 weeks is definitely a long time to get experience. Especially if the talented backup is somewhere else on the line. They won't put the new guy in at LT.

Ouch. That hurts. What kind of experience is behind him?

That's one spot that you really hate to lose anybody on, especially so early in the season. Hope he makes a full recovery.

"Never trust a Hurricane, know why? Because they kill the frick out of people.

eta: obviously my real name is that dude. I'd call you stupid, but you already know that."

Never underestimate the stupidity of an Alabama fan

Interesting dilemma for Miles:

Do you shift Collins over now with the assumption that you can win every game until Bama even with him learning on the fly because of his upside, or do you move Josh D. over, assume he will need help against speed guys but will be steady at LT?
