Disagree. I think from 1990-2000, Alabama was the better program under Stallings. Then Dubose got there and screwed everything up.

of course Bama had good runs, but I'm talking about what Dye helped build.

Not even debatable. In the first 8 years of the SECCG (92-99), Alabama went to 5, and won 2. Auburn only went to 1, and lost.

It took Dubose a few years to destroy what Stallings built. Alabama went 7-3 against Auburn in the 1990s.

Really? You're gonna discredit 1992? Really? Give me a break. The #1 and #2 teams, both undefeated, played for the title. Bama won.

I think you're trolling. Please tell me you're trolling.

so the alcoholic that didn't win could only manage a .500 record against big brother in that era?

Dye took a program that was shite and made it an equal with the best program in college football. The program's name recognition is where it's at today based on the work of Dye.

Stallings did have a good run during most of those years. AU won in 1993, 1995, 1997 - all the games at JH, and lost the others at Legion Field.

Alright, chill. I don't keep track of all the times Auburn supposedly got robbed. And I was negative 3 years old in 1983.

Would have won that game, too, if we had just ran the freaking ball on 3rd Down instead of that stupid screen pass.

WTF does that have to do with anything?

You have just been preaching about Wade's accomplishments at Alabama when you were -50 years old.

Moral of the story, don't lose to Texas at home, and don't trail Michigan for most of your bowl game and win the game on a last second field goal. Had you won that game going away, I have no doubt Auburn would have been national champions in 1983.

Because I know Alabama's history from reading about it. I don't know Auburn's history except from witnessing it. i think it's pretty clear I was saying that. Try and keep up.

Your defense of Pat Dye is understandable. Your excuses, however, come across like a whiney fan from Texas.

Pat is 6-6 vs Bama. He could have been 0-12 if Bryant lived another 12yrs.

See how stupid that sounds.

yeah...don't lose to the #3 team at home and let Miami lose 28-3 to an unranked opponent.
