Other than the Kentucky game in his 1st year we have beaten everybody we were supposed to and a few that we weren't. When our recruiting catches up to the elite's in the conference it's on.

In 2009 (his first year as HC) we went 8–5 (3–5 SEC). In 2008 (Tubby's last season), we went 5–7 (2–6 SEC).

I don't think it's necessarily Chizik who did more with less. I think you have to give some credit to Gus Malzahn, Curtis Looper & hell even Ted Roof (defense has gotten much better). Any Bama fan who thinks the Iron Bowl is a gimme this year is delusional. Auburn is a very tough team at home and will give us a tough game.
