That said - getting old is realizing that this is the biggest game week of the year in conference and this forum is dead.

I’m sure that this will be deleted but I remember As the Plains Burns, Alabama vs LSU for a decade and I’ve never seen it like this in the lead up.

Despite it all - Chicken - thank you for giving LSU fans and all others a place to bitch and gripe through the years.

This is a weird pre-melt for a game you are likely going to win decisively.

There’s almost five hours of post on the first page. During a big game week, that’s unheard of.

This isn’t a melt at all. It’s a realization that the forum isn’t as active as it once was. For those of us that have been here long enough, it’s a sad reminder that times change.

Roll tide anyway

It isn't that big of a deal anymore.

Saban is gone and Alabama is almost certainly still in with a loss and LSU still has a chance if they lose.

Made this comment last week.

Maybe it has more to do with fans really being unsure about their teams than a lack of interest.

Well we probably lost the fricking future of the United States two days ago.

Kind of hard to give a shite about a college football weekend when our country is going to shite.

Those were the days. Huge game and Tigers favored. Will be a battle and can’t wait. May the best team win and everyone come out without injuries

I'm just thankful I moved back to Alabama from Texas over the summer.

I can't imagine how bad shite is going to get over there in the next 4 years.

If it gets too bad, the pendulum will just swing the other way.

This is what happens when half the country supports a guy who cares about himself more than he does the country.

Congratulations.

Your hatred for a guy who will leave office in two years and be dead within a decade has fricked our country to the point of no return.

It's been 48 hours and the lunatic Left is already actively planning to abolish the Electoral College and nuke the filibuster.

But muh Trump is all you fricking care about.

The population of people who post on message boards probably skews older. Younger fans interact on X or IG or probably something else that I don't even know about because I'm old and that shite is gay as frick.

People said a lot of these same things in 2020 and there was a red tsunami in 2024.

Neither side really does what they say they're going to do so it just keeps going back and forth and they laugh all the way to the bank.
