Probably more than 100% capacity. We were 2k over capacity from 2007-2009.

Would you want to sit in a erector set gone wrong stadium? I would be willing to bet there will be more Bama fans in obknoxville than volz.

I attended games during the Shula era and have during the Saban era. Unfortunately, it seems as though the cheering was louder during the Shula era than it is now. I'm guessing it's due to the fact that we couldn't do anything right during that time so when we did, it made us happier. With 101,000+ fans, that place should be rocking all the time. There was significant improvement over these past couple of years, thankfully.

Are you saying you think y'all were around 100% this year? If so, that is hilarious that you think that.

Yeah Fayetteville has overflow capacity above 76k. The Bama game in 2010 was attended by nearly 77k.

I think if games were moved to campus, we'd snag a few thousand people from Little Rock who might otherwise just hang out and wait for us to play down there.

Within 3 years or so we'll probably expand the north end zone, which will give us a seating capacity around 78k, with overflow up to 82k (or 86k, with temporaries where they currently put them). (My guesses, based on renderings).

You are crazy. I also attended the games through the Dubose, Franchoine, Shula, and Saban years. And it's fricking loud. You have got to be an alter.

We averaged about 106% capacity last year. Next year could be even higher, we really need to expand.

If you're going to post something, make sure it's not from one of these gump websites. We take it for less credible when you do that..

How about Sports Business Daily... not a Gump website.

Bama got jealous and expanded their stadium

What happened to the big UT stadium upgrade? Did they get tired of counting the waterboys, concession workers and janitors??

I don't think that's what he's saying. At least I hope not. We were obviously far below capacity this last season.

Thanks Joker.

Maybe i was overwhelmed just being at Bryant-Denny when I was younger. I didn't go to many games in '08-'10 so I'm sure I missed out on a good bit. I'm now a student at U of A and this year was definitely the loudest that I have experienced.

Did USCe expand their stadium? Their #s jumped 3k this year? I thought(I know, I know) they claimed they sold out their stadium every game/year?

Sold out =\= filled up

Our stadium holds 85k I believe. We don't fill up anymore unless they are big games. Mostly visitors sections and the corners of the upper west side. We have put off our expansion plans because of this.

New scoreboard in 2012 though

Bout fricking time too.

Luxury and 82,000 should be the target in Fayetteville. We would still have room after that for another 10,000 if needed but I love the low 80's marks.

Our stadium as more upside than the rest of the SEC. We currently have more skyboxes than Bama and they are maxed out. Our revenue stream isn't close to our ceiling.

there's no way vandy averaged that many in attendance over the last three years. they went 2-10 in 2010.
