But everyone already knew the NCAA's definition of a booster when we hazed the hell out of OleMiss during their 5 yr investigation.

No one should be surprised about the term "booster" and how loosely the NCAA recognizes it.

LSU's Booster laundered money so that he could act like a big wig, season tickets, flying to LSU away games and such. He was at least somewhat close to various players parents (a jock sniffer?), etc. He used his relationship with parents to launder money so that he could line his pockets and he gave the parents a cut to keep them on the hook.

I was a tutor for Bama's athletic department, back in the Francine/Godfrey days. They made me sign a piece of paper acknowledging that after I took the job I would be considered a booster forevermore.
