I don’t think A&M will ever be able to pay back OU with a 77-0 win but I certainly believe we will beat tu by 77 or more.

Tennessee didn't field an official team in 1917 or 1918, instead, they had Student Army Training Corps participate (basically intermural team playing against varsity opponents). In 1918, they lost to Vanderbilt 76-0 (some accounts say it was only 74-0)...so they were just shy of the 77 point margin.
Tennessee's players were off fighting in Europe, while Vanderbilt's weren't...so, of course, UT doesn't count it as an official game and Vanderbilt does.

Had Ed O not called off the dogs early in the second quarter, LSU would have beaten OU by far more than 77 points in that 2019 College Football Playoffs matchup.
