He was the QB for a team that won the national title. He had all the weapons around him then and yet he didn't win the Heisman.
Why?
Because in his case the weapons around him were propping him up. Burreaux had weapons around him as well, but he was the trigger man and an expert marksman. Hence, he won the Heisman of his own accord with no smoke and mirrors required.
Has Mizzou ever had a Heisman winner? Because y'all seem pretty anally asphyxiated by the whole subject.
