So the NCAA is investigating Auburn no AU fans are concerned?

If it makes you feel better then OK I am concerned.
That so many non AU fans want to see AU fans cowering with fear. Why be concerned about rumors, allegations, etc that have yet to be proven? Why get riled about events or investigations you have no control over?
The only response that will come from me if an NOA arrives from the NCAA detailing infractions will be one of disappointment and anger towards those who committed the violations. That may or may not happen who knows.
We have discussed the same issues for the last 8 months and nothing we have done here has changed the discussion. It is quite boring really. Sorry if I didn't show enough humility in my response. It concerns me you may get upset because of it. OK not really

When Yahoo, SI, ESPN or even Fox come out with a story with accusations of Auburn cheating I'll start worrying. Until then....

Ok you bammers, stop and think about a few things for one second.
Think about it, ESPN, HBO, Fox Sports, Yahoo Sports, NY Times and other major media outlets have been desperately trying to find anything on AU for the past 8 1/2 months.
Look how the media turned tOSU and UO inside out and found the goods on them in very little time
The fact that not ONE shred of evidence has come out regarding Chiz and crew breaking rules should tell you something.
If there was ANY and I repeat ANY kind of evidence or indication the Newtons got anything from AU, you would've heard about it by now.
Hell, we havent even seen anything from the media that would indicate the Newtons all of a sudden got an influx of money, if there was any indication they all of a sudden got a whole bunch of money ie new car, etc, they would've written about it.
Cecil and Cam don't strike me as financial masterminds that can hide this from the media who are hell bent on finding it.

Why would it make me feel better? I don't care one way or the other. Just odd at the nonchalant attitude some have about an NCAA investigation into their program.

What do you want us to do? Jump off the nearest bridge. I couldn't care less if the NCAA is the one investigating us.
If there's dirt, the media will find it not the NCAA. The media has more investigative power than the NCAA
And the fact that the media has found absolutely nothing in the last 8 months is why I'm personally not worried.

Yes you do care otherwise you wouldn't have asked the question, or have put thought into how AU fans have reacted to an investigation. Someone that truly didn't care wouldn't even take the time to comment or pose questions at all, right?

Then why is the investigation not over with?

Because possibly they are trying to find one shred of evidence?

Has the NCAA ever came out and made a statement that an official investigation has closed?
I honestly don't know the answer to that.

A simple question. Is AU being investigated by the NCAA? Yes or no?

How the hell would I know the answer with any certainty? All I know is they haven't came out and said the investigation is over, so that would leave one to believe the investigation is ongoing.
But having said that, I can't think of a time when the NCAA started an investigation and made a statement that it was over without any findings.
Have you?

I'll take that as a "yes".

You could have saved the time you spent typing by just saying "yes".

I seem to recall them looking into a car situation at a school and saying that nothing was found. I can't remember what school it was though...

Would you like to link this statement from the NCAA saying the investigation was officially over?
Wanna see what to look forward to when the NCAA exonerates AU!

Maybe you misread my question, I asked if anyone has seen a statement from the NCAA stating they have closed an investigation without finding anything.
You linked a situation in which the NCAA had other findings but not on the Tee Martin stuff.
Besides, your boy said the NCAA made a statement saying they didn't find anything in the car investigation with Bama
You're the king of digging up info, surely you can find that, right?

Unless I'm remembering wrong, the NCAA never investigated Gadsden, as it was bogus from the get go. As far as ending an investigation with no decision made, I have never seen the NCAA end an investigation without something being alleged against the University. Have you?
