You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Having lived in Ft. Worth, TX, I can tell you TCU and Baylor have large, rabid fanbases. That can and will easily fill up a stadium.
Wow! I'm just not sure if you are serious.

How would putting Kentucky and Vandy as Tennessee's permanent rivals be fair to the rest of the SEC. You would get the 13th and 14th teams of the SEC

it's the only chance for a team from the East to make it to the SECCG.
I can't speak for the also-rans of the division, but let's look at UGA's chances throughout the past years relating to the SECCG.
2002: 7-1 SEC record, only loss was to an east team. The 3 best teams in the west were alabama, auburn, and arkanasas....teams that went a combined 0-3 against UGA that season. So you're already wrong right off the bat.
2003: 6-2 SEC. One loss to an east team, one loss to the best team in the west (national champ LSU). Pretty clear LSU would still play in the CCG, but who would the opponent be? Seems like it'd be between UGA and Ole Miss. Considering LSU needed a pretty lucky break to beat ole miss, and UGA was about a minute away in baton rouge from taking LSU to OT, seems like the 2 teams were evenly matched. OM's strength that year was offense with Eli, but UGA had a nasty defense. Winner probably depends on where the game was played. It is certainly not a stretch to say UGA would play in the CCG again this year without divisions.
2004: 6-2 SEC. Our 2 losses were to undefeated AU and 7-1 UT. Without divisions, who knows if we even play UT that year? We beat everyone else we played in both divisions. Chances are likely that if we played someone else than UT we would finish with the 2nd best SEC record. All depends on the coin flip of the schedule I suppose.
2005: 6-2 SEC. The only teams with a better record than us are Auburn (lost by 1 point with less than 10 seconds left) and LSU (who we thrashed in the title game). I doubt divisions would have mattered much this year either.
2007: 6-2 SEC. Both our losses were to the east..so in this scenario of playing a handful (1-3ish? Idk) regular SEC opponents then rotating everyone else, it'd be a crapshoot if we played those same 2 teams again. We beat everyone we played in the west, and the best team in the west we did not face was pretty evenly matched with us.
2011: I will concede this one, this is the one year that we did make the SECCG that we wouldn't have had any shot at if there were no divisions. The east was pretty down and the west was stacked.
2012: 7-1 SEC. 2 other SEC teams finished with that record, and we went 1-1 against those teams. Certainly feasible to think we'd play in the SECCG again with no divisions.
2014: 6-2 SEC. Only 2 teams had a better SEC record, one we didn't play and the other we beat by 5 touchdowns on the road.
So in sum, your troll is stupid and makes no sense.

Damn dude, I already said I was just talking shite because of the West's dominance lately. Sorry you are still taking it seriously and writing dissertations on the subject.

I know that, but the first thing I do when I get to my desk in the morning is drink my coffee and frick around for about 30 minutes before doing any work. Just seemed like a good way to pass the time.

Very much so. Things get nasty around the time of the TCU-Baylor game, especially since the schools aren't far apart (about an hour and half, two hours depending on traffic).
And now that TCU and Baylor are the dominant Texas football schools, i'd imagine its even worse.

Really can't argue with this. Always want to ease into the day and not peak too early.

You forgot 92.

I didn't feel like going back that far. But yeah 92 and 97 are also years that UGA didn't make the CCG that they MIGHT have without divisions.

Y'all lost to UF and UT by a combined 5 points and finished top 10 after knocking Herbstreit around in the Citrus. Zeier with Hearst in the backfield.

Should've beaten the pants off of UT but y'all had 6 TOs.
Posted on 4/8/15 at 8:52 am to Korin
I believe Hastings dropped a deep pass late that would've put us in FG range as well. Oh well.
Posted on 4/8/15 at 8:55 am to WG_Dawg
Actually should've beaten us too, but Goff always crapped his pants against Spurrier.
Posted on 4/8/15 at 8:56 am to Korin
Dont' act like that's some badge of honor, Goff was awful and spurrier is one of the 10 best coaches in SEC history.
You don't see UGA bragging about beating derek dooley do you?

Y'all were the better team though. I doubt that UT ever had a better team under Dooley.

Actually its the opposite. This rule change with stabilize the Big 12, and therefore the entire Power 5.

Just like UF was better than us every victory over us in the 90s, with the possible exceptions of 92 and 93.

Well it's a good thing we're talking about 92 then.
