Just looking out for our SEC brother...the one who came into the SEC with us...who dealt with the newbie abuse right along side us from the original 12...those snakes from the ACC dgaf about you. Just wait. Give it time. They'll show their true colors.
Oh...and if the taters are "adopting" y'all as their "SEC" team (that made me throw up in my mouth a little) it hurts my heart to think of what must be done bc I like y'all. But no friend of the taters can be a friend of ours, Pigs. It is what it is.

Great information! I'm sure the Arkansas fans appreciate the information and input. Thanks for adding to the board!

I'm starting to think South Carolina fans have been lying to us the whole time.
lol, you obviously haven't read many Clemson posts on this board.
The OP might be the first ever non-trolling/non-POS post from a Clemson fan I've ever seen on the SEC Rant.

They have become more "Clemson" now that they have hired a guy from Dabo's tree..
Think about that...
Soon, Arkansas will have about as much in common with the South Carolina delegation as the amoeba..
Arky fans..They will turn on you.
As for the "SEC Brother" how many conference title banners are hanging in Willie B? Also what Conference and how long ago?
You Do realize that if Dabo beats Alabama we will have won as many CFP games as South Carolina has won in total Bowls ever at 8.
Your SEC "Brothers" are laughing at you like the village fool.....
You see...we have to respond to this shite whenever we try to have a civil discussion.
No back to your regular programming

Chad Morris in the SEC-W has me feeling some kind of way. I think we're really going to regret it.

I betcha he has a chip on his shoulder after being passed up for Jimbo.

Clemson has won 3 playoff games

He wants 80-100 offensive plays per game
Yeah, maybe at SMU this was attainable when playing against other high school teams.
This won’t happen in the SEC. I could see mid 70’s, possibly low 80’s, but he won’t touch 90+ a game. Defense is a thing in this conference

Dang quality OP right here.

Well..When Clemson Beat LSU in the Chick-fil-A Bowl in 2012, Clemson ran 100 offensive plays against a top 10 ranked LSU...
Do we really need to continue?

First off, until Mingo got hurt and had to go out for the rest of the game, LSU's defense was murdering the Clemson offense. And it still took some of the dumbest late game play calling possible from Miles, and the best throw of Boyd's career on 4th and 16 to eek out the win. However, that was a great win for Clemson, no doubt. That was the turning point for Clemson in my opinion. That game gave them the confidence to take the next step.

Wasn't Sammy Watkins knocked out the game on the 2nd play?

I get what you are saying but Last year we ran 99 plays against Alabama..they did good.

I honestly think there is a big chance A&M cold regret going after a downward trending Jimbo instead of Morris. Arkansas made a homerun hire IMO.
I hate Joe Alleva.

Some no-name called DeAndre Hopkins had to step in and pick up the slack

It'll happen; that's what he does. He did it to LSU. If Clemson just did it in January against Alabama, I think Chad can figure out a way to do it. The guy has been working to perfect that style for years, and he's as good as anyone at it.
That has a downside as well, though. There were many times we were left scratching our heads at his willingness to forgo the run game. Completely. He seems to value the system over the pieces he has; a bit unwilling to change his gameplan when it isn't working. It's going to stress his defense. Sometimes too far. That and the fact that he was a HC job chaser are the only negatives I saw here.
I think he's great, and Arkansas just hit a homerun. He's now a HC at a major program, and should be able to settle in for a while and put his mark there, as he did here. He's driven and knows exactly what he wants to see on the field. It's also widely believed that he's the one who instituted the toughness in the program. That guy helped change everything here.
