Of course.

Bowl games being a 'meaningless exhibition game' is getting almost as badly whored around these days.

11 of the top 22 are SEC teams. 3 of the top 4. Crazy.

Texas A&M 1 year after a 34 point collapse to UCLA has one of the top classes in the nation. This is a false claim. Jimbo wins.

Morris has a good reputation in Texas HS coaching circles. He’s well respected, and he was able to strengthen his relationships during his stint at SMU.

June Jones basically gave up on recruiting during his last couple of years at SMU.

The first thing Morris did was re-establish connections within Texas. He earned some favors by giving a number of kids their only FBS scholarship offer. He also recruited a number of guys he knew he didn’t have a chance of signing at SMU. Doing so allowed him to get his foot in the door all over the state. He would sit in HS coaches offices and spend time breaking down film and talk coaching even though everyone knew he didn’t have a chance at signing whatever recruit he was chasing.

He also built a lot of solid relationships while at Clemson. Chad Morris has a background at the high school level and the personality that resonates with HS coaches.

This staff definitely works harder than the previous one, and I'm pretty sure we may have the youngest collective staff in the SEC. One of the first things he did when he got here was send a letter to every high school in the state even if they have never produced a D1 athlete to try to establish a relationship.

Who knows if he will eventually get it done or not but I think he'll leave us with a better roster for the next coach if he doesn't.

1. Chad Morris, Arkansas – No one has done a better job this year coming off an awful season than Morris. The Razorbacks have recruited so well and continue to gain momentum. It will be very interesting to see how they carry this over to the 2020 class.

He is a great recruiter but, a terrible head coach!
