I consider our entire existence post 2001(polk2) a rebuild. I'll go through this in great fricking detail one day -- as I was going through recruiting at the time and was very close to one of MS's "2 most wanted" for the 2002 class(both of which ended up at OM) while being a top 10 MS player myself. I had a crystal clear view on exactly what went down when Dan McDonnell made Polk(and Raffo for that matter) his bitch in recruiting.
We are a dormant baseball giant. It's STILL not fully awake -- but it's damn sure rolling over and yawning.
Congrats on building a nice stadium though... after we'd been having 15k in Dudy Noble for almost 2 decades...

Using Cox out of the pen sure is a nice luxury though. We'd have never built this pitching depth under Polk because he wouldn't process players...
