I doubt Bama would go ahead of Georgia/Auburn

Still can't believe people have such hatred for Verne/Gary. First off, Danielson (despite his nasal mid-Western accent) is the best color analyst doing college football today. Just because he makes critical remarks about the particular team one roots for does not mean he is "anti" or "pro" anybody. He is great at explaining what is about to happen based on formation or personnel package.
And I admit I have a soft spot for Verne. Does he butcher kids' names? Sure (Orlando McCain). But, it's like watching the game with my grandfather so I hope CBS keeps him around.

Do we know what two weekends ESPN will take priority?

I asked Mike Aresco that very question, and he said he did not. I asked if those two Saturdays eventually would be made public, and he wasn’t sure of that either. This makes it difficult to try and project the CBS schedule for the upcoming season, but I’ll check in again with him this spring or summer to see if I can pinpoint those two weekends. -David S. He's good. Sometimes. He's horrible other times. When a fg attempt hits the upright and he and Verne are wondering if it's returnable after a player picks it up, you lose "best in the business" status.
