I wouldn't be so quick to write off LSU in that game. LSU has a good pass defense and TO's could be a big factor in that game. Interesting, 4 of 5 pick FSU over Florida.

Hey SAO, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that pipe dream all ur razerback friends have of going to the Sugar Bowl isn't gonna happen EVEN if you did beat us on Saturday.
Sorry to dissapoint you, I know this Arkansas team is ur best team in like, well, ever, but even they arn't gonna be good enough to sniff a BCS bowl.

Depends on who Uncle Lou picks. If he goes with the Hogs we're a lock.

Nonetheless, enjoy JerryWorld big guy. As a resident of Dallas let me know if you need travel and lodging hints from the inside.

And when Arkansas played us Petrino, for some incomprehensible reason, still hadn't figured out that Broderick Green sucks. They are clearly a better team with Davis being the primary back.
Pass blocking was the only reason Knile wasn't starting all year long. He's still not GREAT at it, but they say he's come a long way. I know he missed a block against MSU that cost us a sack. Green is a great blocker. In our offense, they said they have to be able to trust the back to block. Personally, I can live with a few missed blocks if it means we're getting > 150 yards rushing instead of 50.

You know what Arkansas is to the general public? 0-2. Noone gives a frick who Arkansas is other than when they play Alabama, LSU, nd Auburn(this year).

too bad for you the game must be played. looking over those picks, i see quite a few unamimous or near unamimous picks that i call bs on. doesn't matter anyway; picks have zero to do with the actual game. the guy that says LSU is taking this game casually doesn't know what he's talking about. oh, and picks are like assholes, everybody has one.

I don't give a shite who picks arkansas/against arkansas. All this tells us is that there are independent parties out there who feel that Arkansas has a chance to win...something that no LSU fan will admit on this board, save a few.

I'd like to know WTF makes Chip think LSU is taking the game lightly. Where's his proof or evidence for this claim?
Will LSU have as much "want" as Arkansas?? Probably not. But I have no evidence that LSU is taking this game lightly. That's pure speculation. WTF is Chip talking about?
No argument there. And I've said I expect us to lose just because Arky's QB is better than our 2 headed monster, it's a road game and we can't win the West. But primarily because at some point our 4th quarter comebacks, 4th down gambles, pray JJ/JL don't screw up strategy is going to come up short. This team has already exceeded our expectations (which we downplayed because of our shoddy QB play) whereas Arkansas is still trying desperately to reach a BCS bowl for the first time ever.
If you ask me... which you didn't.
Side note:
4 out of 5 of CBS' so called "experts" picked Bama to beat Auburn.

This is easily the second-toughest road opponent the Tigers have faced all season, and they lost at Auburn. The Razorbacks are fresh off a resilient double overtime victory over Mississippi State, while I'm trying to figure out how this "fantastic" LSU defense gave up 36 points to Ole Miss.

No one picked LSU to beat Alabama either. I know this one is on the road but maybe its a good thing few people are picking LSU.

This is not good........i hate when they start picking us in mass like this cuz we usually play like shite following any kind of hype we start getting.

i'd be willing to bet that the thinking is "look at what the webel offense did to lsu's defense and ark's offense is 10 times better". what they are overlooking is that ark does not run the spread option. lsu's defense is much more successful against an ark type passing game.
also, it took ark two overtimes to squeak past an msu team that lsu is better than.

If you really want to go there, you let Ole Miss score 36 points on you at home. We can do this all day.
