That's my point. They got a favorable schedule partly from the outset but also with how it played out during the season. HOWEVER Texas coulda shite the bed but didn't. Alabama played a harder schedule but didn't take mediocre opponents seriously. They'd probably went 5-7 against Texas's schedule given that tendency.
