With respect, this team actually doesn't miss TM all that much.
We already have a TD from a punt return. The young guys at LB and in the secondary are ballhawks. I'd have to check but I think we're on a similar pace for turnovers as this time last year.

I would also add that it's possible CLM approved of #2 on the SEC ring, not as a congratulatory symbol, but as a reminder to finish, which would combat complacency.

Really? I've not seen any that think that's what you said. And if any one wants to spaek of 'arrogance' LSU fans have NOTHING on Gator fans, esp when they are winning. I know beacause I 'm surrounded by them here and have been for 23 years.

Again Draconian you are way off base. I have 3 SEC championship rings in football at Florida. SEC Offensive payer of the year in 1994 and consensus All Americanat receiver in 1994. Plus Biletnikoff finalist in it's inaugural year or 1994. Still in the tops for all time in SECtouchdown catches in a year and career. So some of us on here are not just talking out our arse as you do. Get some stats and then talk to me. And no Season tickets don't count as stats!

Arrogance goes to the root of the program. Same thing happened to us under Spurrier. Sometimes you lose site of the work that is needed to reach the ultimate goal. Bama's success comes from its dedication to the process. LSU is Al's dedicated but the difference lies in the mental attitude of the two programs.
