If USC does sneak up on UF, may god have mercy on Bama in the SECCG!

Last year tebow destroyed SC without Percy Harvin.

Much more likely Florida State can pull the upset.

Lots of nickel/dime packages?
Our base defense is a 4-2-5. The scheme is specifically designed to handle the spread by getting more speed on the field.
Our linebackers are big -- no doubt -- but they are not slow . . . for linebackers. Don't get me wrong, they can't pass cover wideouts and fast halfbacks can get outside on them. That's not their job. Their job is to clog up the middle between the tackles and to pass rush. It's a good scheme to handle Tebow's running. Considering those two linebackers are Jasper Brinkley and Eric Norwood, we do just fine with big linebackers.
In passing situations we go to either a 3-3-5 or 3-2-6. The 3-3-5 is another hybrid as it is not really the 3-3-5 run by West Virginia and others.
This is a much better defense than last year's. For one thing, Ellis Johnson is a far better coordinator than Tyrone Nix. For another, even though the personnel is almost all the same, we do not have the same injuries we had last year. When UF played USC, we had lost Captain Munnerlyn, Jasper Brinkley, Nathan Pepper, Jordin Lindsay and several others to injuries or academics.
UF will move the ball and score, but no way it will be the kind of blowout you saw last year -- even though UF's offense is better.
I doubt we win, but I will be very surprised if UF covers the 21 point spread.

i think SC could keep it close for awhile, but they'll make too many mistakes

It's ahh ite. I understand we went through the process and secured the ref from the SC/Lsu game, we'll have an extra tackler come the SEC game.

We know Spurrier is treating this like South Carolina's Super Bowl, so there will be no sneaking up on us.
