Respectfully, what firsthand knowledge to you have to back up that statement?
I paid attention with the last round of negotiations. I never heard one coach or AD say Hoover sucks, we need to move. Maybe some were ambivalent but others supported staying in Hoover- if they could keep it up to standard given the Barons moved.

They could have it in Jackson. What are some of the better road kill restaurants in the City?

It’s amazing you think Hoover isn’t a deadbeat town that everyone outside of Alabama does not want to go to. Sorry you live in such a loser town.

Be honest; have you ever, actually been to B-Ham/Hoover? Because it is actually considered one of the best food cities in the South and a serious music scene.

Beatty Street Grocery is good down town but make sure you see the foot of the animal you are eating. Could be a racoon instead of a cat.

Colorado. Whenever driving through Kansas or Oklahoma come into the picture, you better give me a damn good excuse to drive through them. I will drive to Omaha if we ever go there again and don’t frick it up, but I can’t think of almost any other reason to drive through the plains again if I can help it.

You’re preaching to the choir here. Jackson is a shithole and I’ve never thought it wasn’t.

I actually lived in Birmingham for 4 months once and also had Hoover in my sales territory. The one time I’ve made it to the SEC Tournament I stayed in Birmingham and it took 40 fricking minutes to get to Hoover. Yes, I’ve probably eaten at some of the best restaurants in Birmingham (and it’s a 20 minute drive with no traffic to Hoover), but Birmingham is not a good enough city to justify it being the only city (or its suburb) to host this tournament. The big baseball schools really want it to be in Memphis or Nashville. The fricking Peabody is across the street from Redbirds Stadium, and the stadium is great too. Why not give Memphis a chance? Or Nashville? Or hell even New Orleans? There’s no reason for there not to be a shuffle.

Or you’re just pissed off I’m insulting your subpar town.

Like a quarter of my family lives in Birmingham. I’m very familiar with it and it’s suburbs. Sorry if I forgot there wasn’t a TGI Friday’s in Hoover, but you’re just a thin skinned pussy that pitches a fit if anyone questions their town. That is a sign of massive insecurity, which means there’s some truth to what I’m saying, so you call me an idiot. Great job.
