At what point is it allowable to do what’s best for yourself vs. a group? I know one thing about this world: You damn well better look out for yourself because few other people are going to. And all these people who want Johnny Heisman to turn down better opportunities to stay at Ole Miss or Oklahoma State (or wherever) aren’t going to give a frick whether 20 years from now he’s living in a mansion or can’t make the rent payment on his one bedroom apartment.

Most of these players have generational wealth vs. an everyday job hanging in the balance regarding their ability to prove their worth and then capitalize on it. I don’t blame them one bit for taking every NIL dollar they can get and transferring somewhere that might showcase their talent a little better.

I would like to see how many folks here would move to a rival company for double their current salary.

College football is NOT a game to those involved in it. To YOU it is a game. To THEM it’s just as much a job as plumbing and selling insurance are to the everyday man.
