If the LSU offense can extend drives, and help balance out the TOP then sure why not.

Remember that LSU held UF to 47 yards in the first half. It wasn't until the defense got tired from being on the field so much that Florida started to gash with runs. That and losing two linebackers.

P.S. Ask Lattimore what it was like to run on the LSU D.

No fricking way....even a WVU/Oregon offense wouldn't score over 38 on these defenses let alone each other's.

250 yards total offense. LSU will be around that as well. Big play and turnover will decide as usual. Bye week will have an impact if goes deep into 4th quarter and overtime. Reference last year regular season game.

Not a chance. I say Bama is closer to 400. LSU at 300ish. Turnovers and FP.

What a fail of a post. I bet they havent ran for 250 on us since Alexander was at bama.

The most they have rushed vs LSU since 2007 was for 176 and I dont feel like going back any farther. However, I did forget that bama ran for 20 yards on us in 2007.

I don't want to get into what the score of this game will be until i see how LSU handles A&M saturday

It could easily be another 9-6 type game but i don't see it getting further than a 7 point lead for either team

What a stupid question. If Minter and Alexander don't get hurt on back to back plays I don't even think Florida scores on us. And that's taking into account what will most likely be our worst offensive performance all year

Either I'm giving Bamas O way too much credit or LSU fans are undermining their O. Probably somewhere in between.

we had what 2 or 3, 3rd down conversions on 1/9 and they only ran for 150 on us. how long was Trent's TD run at the very end? 40 yards? so they ran for about 110 on us prior to that?

they will not sniff 200, much less 250.

Yeah 250 is a bit much probably. I just think LSU can be run on with the right packages, and Bama does a lot of tackle over and bigger fronts. Plus their OL is really stout. You're probably right though. It will probably be closer to 200 than 250.

when's the last time bama ran for 250 vs LSU?

off the top of my head 1996, but that was a memorable game...I can't recall if we did that in the 31-0 game

We can be run on if our defense is on the field for 40 minutes, that's for damn sure.

Also, yall got yalls yards on alot of misdirection and outside running plays while our D was gassed and 2 LBs were out. Bama runs between the tackles more like we do.

If they can put 170 on the ground on us, that would be an excellent day and likely a W for them. Our offense has got to help out our D in this game though, they have to convert on 3rd and give our D a rest.

Bama has a better D and better OL than UF IMO. Could mean disaster in DV for LSU.

Our D is rock solid as long as the offense doesn't go 3 and out every goddamn series and keeps them out there the whole game.

I'd wager the team with the better 3rd down percentage will win the game
