I want to put Sikes as my avi, but I've made a pledge to use this same one every baseball season until we make it to Omaha.

indeed they have....43 years ago, and lost both games. went in 1969 as well, went 1-2. Ole Miss' all-time record in omaha is 3-8. last time they won an outright conference title was 1977. I love the enthusiasm, though. however, imo, it seems like a really terrible return on your investment

We don't care about Omaha, we only care about beating LSU.

Yup, you'd be correct

Huffington Post Ranks Best Towns For Food Lafayette Ranked #2

Known by locals as the "capital" of Cajun cuisine, Lafayette, La., is a town made for true food lovers. For traditional Southern cuisine, eaters may find themselves at staples like The French Press. To learn how to make traditional gumbo while you’re in town, swing by The Accidental Chef Cooking School. And for those looking to veer away from Cajun, Spanish tapas joint Pamplona never disappoints.

What does that have to do with this weekend?

If the black bears win this weekend LSU will still have 6 CWS trophies and om will still have none.

LSU will still be considered, arguably, one of the top two or three college baseball programs of all time. The black bears wouldn't even be in the discussion for the top 25 of all time most likely.

Omaha will still stand for "ole miss at home again" if the black bears win this weekend. LSU will still be much more likely to make it to Omaha even with a series loss this weekend.

I could go on and on but hopefully it's a little easier for you to understand why we think you have no history to speak of.

[quote]swayze is the 4th best venue in the conference. not bad, but not on the level of arkansas, usc, and lsu[/quote

]So I guess that you are to young to know the difference in attendance/ capacity/ total venue experience.

You must love Neyland Stadium. ??

you sound really confident about your team's chances this weekend. I mean our team has no history, lsu should dominate. All that history should surely translate to wins this weekend.

I think it will be tough to get a series win against a good black bear team this weekend. It's just that LSU baseball doesn't measure success by beating a team that has been a bottom feeder for generations. It would be nice if teams like yours would bow down to the greatness of LSU baseball as we all know it. Instead of this false bravado we have to deal with from fans of a team that hasn't represented the SEC in Omaha in decades. It's called respect junior.
