Fewer losses is pretty far from cherry picking. Losses should be a criteria that is paramount in the discussion.
But the whole thing is just a farce with no standards so why bother discussing it?

This isn’t a playoff, it’s an invitational “tournament” designed to make money via TV deals. The last real championships were the BCS ones. After that it’s only undefeated ones that matter (yes uga has 1 that’s legitimate).

Let’s go over them:
1. A conclusive head to head loss
2. Not earning a SECCG bid
3. Having a weaker SOS
4. Having a bad loss to an UR team
5. Having less ranked wins.
6. Number of losses.
Anything else you want to add? Only 1 of those favors UT. The other 5 favor uga.
