Dude in 2017 we were in year 4 of butch and had the worst season we have ever had..... ever.

Lets get through the rest of this season before we determine if 2017 was the worst ever.

They screwed up pretty badly by taking Shrout. You had to hit on that QB cycle or land some transfer.

Think Maurer would’ve been solid if not for all the injuries and mental health problems.

Didnt we have Adrian Martinez and recruit "over" him with shrout?

Winning 2 games in this all SEC 10 game season has already surpassed 2017, bub. 0-8 in sec that year.

Not sure what year he was but he would’ve flipped anyway. We turned down the UNC QB for Shrout though.

VOLS didn't want a single SEC game in 2017. I honestly think they would've had a decent season if not for the Felipe Franks hail mary, that emotionally broke them. Ofc a better coach doesn't let something like that break the team, Proot rallied them after the GSU and BYU losses

Adrian Martinez may be worse than Gitmo so all things considered we did well dodging that loser

I doubt it. We had redshirt freshman JG that season in Butch’s no-read option offense.

I still want to see how the season plays out. He's about to get blown out this weekend and things can snowball from there with more blowouts. 2-8 still sounds worse than 4-8 even with the gimme games.

Butch had the worst season in Tennessee history...

Pruitt may say 'hold my beer' before this one is over.

I disagree. They’ll still get another game or 2 though.

Wasn't there another QB, Normandy or something?

You’re right - forgot about him - not sure if or when we benched him.

Well, Butch, unlike Pruitt, did beat both UGA and Kentucky in year three.

Both of those teams are much better this year than they were back then. You are a moron
