I choose to just care about the Auburn game and going 11-1 and then seeing what they say.

Maybe, but to this point the committee is valuing wins over Losses. That is why UGA with the better wins was over Bama with definitively a much more respectable L. Alabama was also arguably a more rounded team with that potent O, but the committee seemed to value the wins more.
I think Oregon is a threat because they were very competitive vs AU in a game played 3 months ago. Oregon could end up the season with 12 straight wins. They have said they want teams to schedule better NC opponents. Had Oregon played Sam Houston State there would be no issue... and I'm not sure this is a message the committee wants to send.

Man I wish. Get them in at 4 and us at 2 behind Ohio State then just beat the frick out of them in New Orleans. God without Tua we’d win by 4 TDs

A very healthy perspective.

The comparison with Tua being out is 2014 Ohio State though. Him being out the biggest factor because with him they are a top 4 team. Without him it's wait and see. 2016 and 2017 OSU and Bama had far superior resumes.

LSU wins out
OSU wins out
then one of the following
Clemson loses
OU lose to OSU or Baylor in a rematch.
Arizona or Utah lose in the next two weeks and the team that loses wins the PAC12.
If that happens Bama is in.
Yes if all that happens and Bama wins out they are in.

The concept of "Eye Test" is very ambiguous
Eye test means Bama has won every game they won by 19 points or more. No other one loss team is close to that and Bama lost to the current #1 team by 5 points

this would be completely irrelevant. Oregon would have the same amount of losses but a P5 championship which alabama would not.
Alabama's ONLY chance is for 2 p5 conferences to have champions with multiple losses. And that seems extremely unlikely.

I hate to say it but Bama is going to be out of the playoffs this year.
Good try guys Roll Tide.
LSU you beat us, so I am cheering for the tigers. Best of luck to the.

You need to be focusing on Western Carolina

But that Bama team no longer exists, and the committee clearly has written into their standards/bylaws/whatever that they are to take injuries into account.
So, even more so than usual, all that matters is the Auburn game for us, because the key component of the team that won by 19+ points every game isn't playing anymore this season. If we roll past Auburn then maybe there is no drop off. If we don't, or we lose, obviously everything before is heavily discounted. So all that other stuff could happen and it might still not matter.

IDK about extremely but it is unlikely. I dont think Clemson gets beat. But there is a chance that OU loses and the PAC has a 2 loss champion.

Sure they can-with a convincing win over Auburn and A loss by anyone else but LSU( head to head)-with some crying/lobbying from Saban who's arse gets kissed by just about everybody...SURE THEY CAN!!!!

"To this point..." is exactly nothing more than that: to this point.
And, to this point, Alabama is ahead of Oregon. If Alabama soundly defeats Auburn in their house behind a back-up QB, that makes Oregon's loss to them at a neutral site even worse.
UGA being ahead of Bama is really irrelevant, as far as Bama is concerned. Bama has needed LSU to beat UGA, and that's still true. UGA loses and they're out.

If we roll past Auburn in their house, behind a back-up QB, then Oregon is in very deep shite.

Fair, but to this point Oregon still does not have what would be their best win in their resume... potentially over an 11-1 Utah.
Hate to say it but LSU winning out is hardly a sure thing. That Defense is a concern.
