CWM said in his presser that Florida averaged 70 plays last season and Auburn averaged 72. Then said it is about players. You have got to have the players.

OP Listed offenses don't go as fast as Malzahns. A lot of those are high tempo, but don't go as fast as Malzahns.
It's undeniable there's a ceiling defenses have with offenses like rich rod, Gus, Oregon, etc. those are the true hurry ups.
Ellis Johnson was a good coordinator until he got to auburn. To assume muschamp blows the doors off in the first year is stupid.

All we need him to do is make Chicken McNuggets. Think about the games that AU lost this year. If AU Defense was capable of two additional stops per game, AU would have been at worse 11-1 and in the playoff. AUs Offense had to play perfect, in order to overcome Ellis Johnson's D.

Ranking defenses by the total defense stat is so unbearably stupid.
Alabama beat Arkansas 14-13; Alabama had 53 plays, Arkansas had 79 plays, for a total of 132 plays.
Baylor beat TCU 61-58, Baylor had 109 plays, TCU had 89 plays. for total of 198 plays. For you non numbers types, that's exactly 50% more plays.
I'm not saying Baylor TCU or Arkansas's defenses are as good as Alabamas, Alabamas defense is great, but the notion that Baylor, TCU, and other HUNH teams have BAD defenses is terribly misinformed.
