Bo jackson was a better athlete. Deon Sanders is another one Michael Vick was definitely a better athlete. Add Jim thorpe to that list.

No, we just disagree with your radical opinion derived from not even an entire season.

All time covers more than a decade. I think you could throw a few former Nebraska QB's (Frazier, Gill, Crouch) in there for comparison based on production, Charles Woodson, and a whole host of others for "best athlete" (Bo Jackson, Herschel Walker etc.). Heck as far as best athlete goes, you could put Charlie Ward in there too for pure athletic ability. I agree Newton is a great athlete and a special player, but I think a lot of folks are going way overboard right now on him.

The fact that you think Tebow, Marcus Vick, and Joe montana are better athletes than Newton proves how big of an idiot you are

Michael Vick is debatable, but MV wasnt running aroung and 6'6 250lbs was he?

Obviously you guys don't get it. It seems like most of you are just reading the title of the thread then freaking out. My post says if Newton continues to put up 170+ yards rushing games for the remainder of the season i htink he will be in the running. This is an undebatable fact. If Newton finishes with 2000+ rush and 2000+ pass yards he will be the 1st player to do that EVER... but according to you guys he hasnt done anything yet its just an overreaction over 8 games, but we have never seen this before I am still waiting for you guys to name legit players who have Newtons running ability at his size.
