re: How good would Andrew Luck be doing in Carolina?

Andrew Luck had a 99, Landry Jones a 94, Matt Barkley a 91. Then it showed Cam with a 93 rating. They talked about Luck would have went number if he came out and how he's the best prospect since Peyton
yes. Scout grades and ratings are objective.

Not to rain on the Cam parade because he's been great. It's just amazing to think how Luck would do with this talent and coaching as well. Since he's one of the best prospects ever, already familiar with a pro style offense, deadly accurate and brilliant
yes, being a great prospect means you will play well in the nfl
quote:
To make the perfect analogy. Tim Duncan passed up college to return for his SR. year. Allen Iverson went number 1 instead and was incredible. But Philly fans to this day wish Duncan came out cause he was the superior player/prospect.
yes, an nba/nfl comparison is the perfect analogy
Sanchize does it again!

madden 12 mercy
Posted by berryNation on 9/14/11 at 8:57 pm
How do I offer mercy on madden 12?
My friend has invited me to the past 3 games and i have been up 21+ in second half. I have tried to quit but it doesnt allow me to offer mercy. I'm assuming because he's changed the settings so that the game doesnt count or something because my record hasnt changed since i started playing him. That would explain why i can offer a mercy quit. I tried inviting him to a game, but i didnt see any setting that would make the game not count. Can anyone explain this to me?

DUde, nobody considers philip rivers release to be slow. His throwing motion may be miliseconds slower than Brees, but he has a relatively quick release. Your making him seem like he's byron leftwich or tebow

Just because he has a quirky, sidearmish type release doesnt mean its slow. What about this release looks slow to you?

Jerry got a degree in broadcasting? Nope Jerry taking a job from someone who actually worked at perfecting their craft is a slap in the face to those who put forth that effort.... If Jerry can share his opinion on Randy Moss the former NFL player, why can't I share my opinion on Jerry Rice the Broadcaster?
Because attack on Jerry Rice the ESPN ANALYST is an ignorant one. Half the analysts on ESPN are former players who dont have broadcasting degrees because you dont need a broadcasting degree to work as an analyst. The fact that rice played 20 years in the league more than makes him qualified to commentate on ESPN's NFL live, such is the reason that former players like Tedi Bruschi, Marcellus Wiley, Mark schlerif--just to name a few--are all espn analysts.
Some guy who wants to be a sports broadcaster or sports analyast can "perfect his craft" all he wants, but that doesnt make him more qualified to speak about a sport than a person who actually played the sport at the highest level for 15+ years

Hey dumbass, half the broadcasters are former players/coaches.
And the ones who arent merely got there b/c they have connections
As Revis said, Moss is a "slouch"

Is netflix better on the ps3 or wii? I have both and am thinking about getting netflix. From what I understand, Netflix is better on ps3 because you can get higher quality (given you have fast enough internet)but i hear the loading and streaming is faster on the wii. Anyone have any firsthand experience with this?

If the future of consoles is 3D and such, is it REALLY that much more cost effective than building a gaming PC? I mean, if the console itself is gonna cost $400-$500, and, if you're like me and don't already own a 3D television, that's gonna be close to another $1000
This is what I'm getting at. For Every new generation of consoles, the price of the coneole itself, the games, the accesories is increased. For example, back in the day a new ps1 game just released was like 20-30$ Then for ps2 and xbox a new game was 49.99, now new game is 59.99. The new consoles will be more expensive. Your not going to get a excellent 3d tv for below 1500 or even 2000. Yes the new systems will have better graphics, but wheres the draw? I'm assuming it will be them pushing 3d capabilities, (like how the last gen pushed hdtv--you needed to buy a hdtv or else your ps3 or 360 was esentially no better than a xbox or ps3--graphicas wise atleast)
I guess my point is that idk what the new gen systems are going to offer that we dont currrently have. I cant see them upgrading online too much. Motion controls?--already been done with xbox kinect and playstation move.
But who knows, I am commenting on something I haven't even seen yet. I may find my foor in my mouth when they start to release more information

Have you watched TV in 3D yet? It looks amazing
Yes on the high end, most expensive models. On the lower end models, you can see the flickering of the screen. I am referring to the ability of game creators and hardware produces to make systems and games that can effectively exploit the 3D technology. Its not there yet (atleast for a legitimate market value)

3D technology is pretty cool, IMO and could be a huge part of next gen systems.
If the next PS3 and 360 come out in 2013, that will be 7 to 8 years between systems. Computer hardware evolves a good bit every single year. YOu can expect a big difference.
By shoddy i mean that 3D Tv's and possible games systems's ability to effectively utilize 3D is still in its early stages
Next Gen systems
Posted by berryNation on 7/5/11 at 7:19 pm
Is it just me or does anyone else feel like the next gen of systems slated to launch in 2012 aren't too much to get excited about. WHen 360 and ps3 came out it was all about the jump to HD, but now it feels like they are just rushing the systems out because of the competition (assuming recent reports to be true, but I expect delays). If I'm going to invest in a new gaming system, I want it to be a big jump, not just somewhat better graphics with shoddy 3D capabilities, and a slightly better online experience (if that)

netflix questions
Posted by berryNation on 6/30/11 at 11:32 pm
I was thinking about getting netflix, but i have some questions which may be dumb, but bear with me.
It says you pay like 7.99 per month for unlimited netflix access via streaming over internet. My hdtv is not internet compatible so I would have to link up a ps3, wii, or xbox 360 to my tv which would allow me to watch. If I wanted to link a ps3 and a wii into my account (so i could watch netflix via wii in one room and ps3 in another room) would they charge extra? Also is there a limit to how many tvs i can be watching it on at the same time ?
ANd does netflix stream HD content and if so do i need a really fast internet connection to watch it without buffering?
