What about the next 34 points? We couldn't stop you.

Mathieu scored on a return, then forced two fumbles we scored off of. He personally scored 7 and set up 14 more.

Mathieu's INT only set up 1 TD and Morris' return was late in the game.

Those were pivotal moments, bro. We lose that game without those plays.

One of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen on this board. This isn't the frickin' Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce we're talking about where it's all about "who you know". The NFL is a business and they fire and hire multiple coaches every year. You don't get tenure like a high school coach.

This. Bench McElroy has shown immense ignorance in this whole thread. Thinks he knows everything. Not many head coaches would risk their jobs over a coordinator. They'll give them chances, but not for years. The NFL is FAR better than college football, even the SEC. By most measures Cameron has had good success throughout his long career

Correct, unless you are Gerry Dinardo.

cameron was a flop as a HC and probably underachieved w/ the ravens but if les actually gives him the green light it will be a good hire. if we are still running the power toss dive 67 times a game then we will all be disappointed. if our offense has more of a 2005 chargers look to it, then frick yes. i'll have to wait and see though. people acting like this has total failure written all over it is expected. it's not like les is bringing in scott loeffler.

May I welcome LSU back to being a cellar dweller in the SEC.

This hire means nothing.

Meh...some rustled-up douche in another thread was weeping and sobbing how I just post witty one liners and don't actually contribute to threads.

This was my attempt to do just enough not to get banned for bringing the truth to the masses on this board.

If I'm here one more day, then it will extrapolate into more jimmies getting rustled. And that my friend is half the battle.

Cam Cameron would have 100% been a better Head Coach hire for Auburn or Arkansas than Gus or Bret. He is a very decorated football coach. It's an honor to have him as a Tiger.

This is an upgrade to our current situation and that is indisputable. Anyone saying bad / weak hire is jelly.

CC and Chief best OC/DC combo in the country.

Or that Les is Gene Chizik hiring Cam Cameron.

And then how many people were pissed at Malzahn in 2011 for having an offense ranked worse than LSU's? Now it's all Chizik's fault and Malzahn is good again.

You might be doing toss dives for a lot at first because of the transitions that need to happen, and people might get frustrated. I bet it will initially look like a lot of the same, but you will begin to see little glimmers of change. And I bet you will see plays currently in the playbook executed better than they are now.

Cautiously optimistic/excited about this hire. It's almost without question an upgrade from Stud, and it seems like Miles may trust Cam enough to, if nothing else, not question every single play call.

Most level-headed LSU fans would tell you that this hire addresses many of the offensive issues with which we've dealt. Fans want to see better offensive production, better QB development, and an OC that is more than just a puppet for Miles. Cam meets these criteria.

Plus, if the SECR doesn't like it, I'm happy.

This is par for the course. If he sees a movie backdrop, he thinks it's real scenery.
