Hurts can't complete a pass over 10 yards

I would buy insurance on his health, tbh.

That Alabama D is terrifying.

I'm selling his arse before the game even starts. He's not mobile enough to protect himself. He throws short to intermediate OK but the long ball is inaccurate -and he's not good enough to make more than one read before the rush gets to him. Alabama's D will destroy him

Link?

I was around Alberta cutting trees off of peoples houses and I saw folks from all over helping, yes even LSU. I dont think you will find a group of people more willing to assist after a disaster than South Louisianians.

This didn't happen but go ahead and make up whatever you want in your head.

Not true. Hes got very good pocket awareness. He feels pressure and slides. Of course if both ends close up on him(which is totally possible with bamas DL) then he has no where to go then, yea. Hes also very good at stepping up in the pocket so if bamas DEs come around wide and there is no push in the middle he will step up and send it deep or dump it off to the check down. Been doin it since he took the field.

This is true. Astute point. Im a little confused now. Your first point shows you havent watched him play but this comment shows you have.

and he's not good enough to make more than one read before the rush gets to him.

I guess you havent.

This is wrong. Etling is the first QB we've had since Flynn that can make more than one read. He doenst lock-on his receivers. He makes 2nd reads regularly and checks down a bunch. Its going to depend on the time he gets in the pocket.

Alabama's D will destroy him

Maybe. Depends on how quick he gets the ball out. LSUs offensive staff needs to get him quick throws to start the game.

LSUs whole offense will be played within 5 or 6 yards of the LOS

This will probably be true and needs to be for LSU. They can go deep after they get him comfortable with the pass rush. Dont be fooled. Guy is a gamer. Hes doesnt get that deer in headlights look like so many of LSUs other QBs have.

LSUs D will play lights out but LSUs O will die an ugly humiliating death.

This is a possibility but Id give them a better shot than in the past.

Im going 2 on the TOs and 4-5 on sacks.

As good as Hurts is playing as a true freshman this is the truth. He hasn't seen anything close to what he will see come Saturday night. Not only because of the Stadium along but because of the pass rush he will be seeing and the speed from sideline to sideline.

Not like he faced two of the best pass rushers in the SEC in back to back weeks or anything.
