Either way, dude has one hell of a jump shot.

It's going to be an even longer season if you spend it pissed off at the coach. Trust me. Just support your team and maybe you'll be surprised. It's just November.

How are you going to put this shite on him? You're rolling with how many scholarship players?

College basketball is by far my favorite sport, and I've been spoiled by having good competitive Mississippi State basketball teams all of my life. This year is going to be painful. Ray is a good guy but wasn't a good hire.

People laughed at me last year when I said I'd take AK for our head coach, I was dead serious. I'm a fan of AK I think the guy has done a good job at Ole Miss. He's starting to bring in good recruits now.

7 tonight

I'd give my left Nutt for a walkon like Polson, but Rick Ray doesn't like walkons so we don't even have enough healthy players to scrimmage

Tell me about it

13. South Carolina - Solid backcourt, but they'll have the worst frontcourt in the conference.

Plain and simple we should have hired a better more experienced HC instead if a guy nobody had ever heard of.

Then just best to look at this season as a wash and try to enjoy it as best you can.

Yeah, I'm him I'm loading up on the walkons while I can. Have a tryout. See what you can get.

So it's Ray's fault he was hired? You're not giving Ray a chance because Stricklin made a "bad hire"?

Show me how, in ANY way, we would be better off right now today. Can you? Didn't think so. Ray will be impossible to judge fairly based on what he inherited this season.

God I bet you would have cancelled your season tickets if you were an OM fan when they hired Freeze...

We tried that and didn't keep anybody. With the depth we have, the people who tried out must've been turrible.

We did and Ray didn't even go to it and no players were kept.

But you've got him. And at the very least he's going to need a good 3 seasons to turn that shite around. Half of your players were set to transfer anyway even under Stans and who knows what else he would've gotten you into at the rate he was declining.

I played in the Sanderson when I was in school at State and I know there are 2 or 3 guys in there good enough to play.

Exactly. Too much logic in this one though.

Al just wants to blame Ray for everything that has happened/will happen even though practically none of it is actually his fault. I've yet to see Al assign one bit of blame for our current situation to Stansbury, who is rightfully fully responsible.

I imagine he was impossible to deal with for the first 2 years under John Cohen before he got the ball rolling.

Well that would mean those 2 or 3 guys are graduated and no longer at school; therefore, I highly doubt they were able to try out. If you think being able to "ball" in the Sanderson is equivalent to an SEC caliber player, then I overestimated your basketball knowledge.

Damn. Time to call Mullens and see if he has anyone he minds loaning out for a bit.
