Does he get the MSU job if he doesn't make that shot? Doubt it. Your whole marketing department focuses their attention on subtle jabs at Ole Miss. It makes perfect sense. Come on, you really believe Bryce Drew would be getting a look if he hadn't made that shot?

I'm not saying he's not a good coach because he's decent, but there's tons of coaches out there more qualified and more experienced than him. If State has the success in basketball and the commitment they like to claim, you guys can do better than Bryce Drew.

Guess you guys wanted to go the cheap route.

Why would Ole Miss fans expect anything less from a school that only promotes themselves by putting down their rival? This would be another step for Stricklin to "rile up" the fanbase.

Don't get me wrong, Drew is a good coach. However, he'd get minor consideration if he doesn't give a bitter taste to MSU's rival.

Drew > Kennedy

Maybe so. Who said I was arguing that? I just said the guy doesn't get an ounce of consideration, maybe a courtesy interview, if the history isn't there with Ole Miss.

This. MSU's basketball program has connections all over the state. Pollard is "being taken care of" IMO.

No, I don't mean paid for. I do mean heavily influenced to stay instate by people on the AAU circuit, etc.

Yeah, because our basketball team has an inferiority complex to OM that must be satisfied.

Stans didn't even consider you guys a rival in all honesty.

Look, just because Mullen trolls this shite out of you guys doesn't mean we give a flying frick about using our first external basketball hire in 20 years to take a jab at OM. This is just absurd.

you sound really mad, bro. and your rebuttal to Elleshoe's facts was perhaps the funniest thing posted today. Nothing says braniac by throwing opinion at facts.

I never said that the marketing campaign was an inferior complex. Interesting that you said that without bait.

BTW, outside of the Kentucky game, which I'm sure was #1, what basketball game had the most attendance this year?

Never said he did. He didn't fit in well with the coaches or the attitude at State, and on top of all that he underachieved. State wants arrogant, outspoken pricks as coaches because their school can't promote itself outside of Mississippi.
