Remember when Alabama fans said those didn't matter anymore?

I remember...

the Auburn fan is the guy that said it's a brutal year.

When a brutal year includes an undefeated conference record and the conference title, then it's clearly indicative of just how dominate the program really is.

Thanks Auburn fan.

To have such a dominant regular season in football only to be smoked in the biggest game is nothing short of brutal

Not as brutal as uof5c fans. Their big brother just blown out bama for the natty and they have a 5 game losing streak to us.

A great example of how things are relative.

Brutal for Alabama is to win every SEC game and the SEC title, only to lose the last game of the season to the other very good program, the record vs which is now 2&2 the last 4 years.

Brutal for LSU is 0&8, 0-21, 0-29 vs that Alabama program.

We won the SEC Championship in football. It was still a very good year.

Thanks.

The SEC title is meaningless if you don't win it all.

Most definitely not true

I think Alabama proved that in 2011 and then again in 2017.

If we had lost to a SEC team, invalidating our conference title, sure.

I will always enjoy owning the SEC. Always.

A great year for LSU football now is to not lose at least 4 games.

Considering the amount Bama inve$t$ in football simply beating LSU is not much of a return on investment

We won the SEC, beating 3-loss LSU by 30 wasn't that big a part of the season.

SEC football title is >>>> SEC basketball title and this is not evening considering the (*). At least LSU will get a lot of free TV time due to the FBI wire taps.

you're trying to spin the issue but you're not good at it.

The simple point is that a brutal year for Alabama is going undefeated in conference and winning the conference title but losing in the national title game.

A brutal year for LSU is 0eux-8, 0eux-21, 0eux-29.

No spin, stating a fact. The expection for Bama is most certainly not getting skull fricked in the NC considering the amount of money invested in the football program.LSU was expected to be a .500 team by most yet finished 6th in the country.

What is this amount of money thing? Is this the new spin on why Alabama is good?

Once again I’m stating facts,no need to spin or fling.Wish LSU could invest more into football but they choose to spread the money out more.

Lol, money has nothing to do with it.

Look at what we pay Avery Johnson.
