I watched these YouTube videos on the Texas-Tennessee Game; from Brooks Austin, Josh Pate, and Landon Tengwall;

Tennessee's Offensive Line Destroyed by Texas

Texas BEATS Tennessee

Colin Simmons Record Setting Day

One is pretty adamant that you don't throw a freshman QB under the bus, Ever. With that said, it wouldn't have mattered.

One watched from the field level and thought Tennessee had open receivers all day long.

Anybody that watched the game knows the QB was under pressure all game long. Any QB on the planet would have been under the same pressure.

He got sacked 10 times, by the stat sheet, 12 times on the field. They should have had more. He got hit many more times. He played hurt with an unknown injury, that probably affected his throwing motion.

Some PFF #'s are a joke. Brandon may not have thrown the ball for 5 seconds, but that doesn't mean he had 5 seconds to throw the ball, if he was running for 3 of them.

A few obvious takeaways.

1. Don't be a hypocrite. You would take Colin Simmons on your team in a heartbeat, no questions asked. He was Choosin' Texas before Ella started singing about it.

2. Colin Simmons is the best pass rusher in college football. Destroyed is the right word. Lawrence Taylor 2.0

3. Texas has 2 monster DT that ate up Tennessee's double teams all game long. One of which was Simmons HS teammate and Player of the Year. DT is probably the deepest position group.

4. Texas defense is well coached, and has great players. The biggest question Muschamp had was to rush 3 guys or 4. Texas blitzed very little in the game.

5. Texas doesn't need Arch to be great, and Texas doesn't have to score 50 points a game.

6. At this time last year, Texas was 2-2, coming off a shite show in Florida. It was ugly, but it was a win.

* Brooks said he was asked to look at some North Carolina game film; "I ain't got time for that!"

Texas had one team sack, at home, vs UTSA

Thank God for Arch putting up a QBR of 30

Did any of them mention how well the Texas Oline did against our DL?

Didn't Leavitt have 3 interceptions against LT in the first half at home?

Leavitt has been credited with 1 INT on the year.

UTranny really believed Arch was a generational QB

That shlt went out the window with NIL. You want to get paid like grown men, you take the heat like grown men.
