It isn't Kelly. It's LSU. Kelly is just a talking point.
1. Before the SEC went "divisionless", we were the main obstacle to Alabama making it to Atlanta every year. They beat us more often than not, but Miles and Malzahn beat Saban more than any other coaches during his tenure. In other words, LSU was the biggest threat to that from which the Gumps derive their self worth.
2. They don't have Saban to hold over our heads anymore and now they don't know what to do with theiir hands.
3. Kelly makes them nervous because he's the first coach we've had who isn't a bumbling idiot since Saban.
4. 2019 broke them.
5. They had a down season by their standards in Year One following Saban's departure and are generally just flailing and lashing out.
You want to talk about a piece of shite? Let's discuss Hugh Freeze. But do you see Bama fans starting daily threads about Brother Hugh? Nope. There's a reason for that.
